HOB Memphis Studio A Control Room
In the heart of Memphis resides a world-class recording facility.  Just minutes from Beale St. and The Peabody, House of Blues Recording Studios' spacious quarters house two complete studios outfitted to capture the spirit of all styles of music amidst the Delta's rich local heritage.  Originally named "The Sounds of Memphis Studio" House of Blues carries on an over 25-year tradition of music-making history.  Before taking on the moniker House of Blues, this historic location was established as Kiva Studios by Gary Belz and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.  Belz is no stranger to creating memorable and lasting establishments. He is part owner of The Peabody Hotel and was in charge of its management and acclaimed restoration. The success of joint-ventured studio, Ocean Way Nashville was also due in large part to Gary's vision and expertise. As with all of Belz's endeavors, the imprint of quality, style and detail flourishes at HOB Memphis providing an outstanding creative environment.

Studio A features a 72 channel Neve VRSP  in a 24Hz Hidley designed control room.  The expansive live tracking room features soaring 24-foot ceilings, 3 spacious iso rooms and a Yamaha C7 grand piano.  Studio B sports a 52 channel Mitsubishi Westar console with Flying Fader autiomation.  The attached live space is large enough to host a variety of recording scenarios but is probably best suited to overdub sessions or smaller group tracking.  All studios at HOB Memphis share access to an extensive array of both vintage and modern outboard gear and microphones.

HOB Memphis is a member of the Kiva family of recording studios, an award-winning group with alternate locations in Nashville and Encino, where hit albums from such artists as Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Collective Soul, the Wallflowers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Puff Daddy, Janet Jackson, Matchbox 20, Tela, Goo Goo Dolls and Keb Mo, among many others, have been recorded.  To enquire about bookings please email us or call 818-990-1296.
